The last couple of days at the Galway festival are akin to the dregs of a pint of Guinness that has been left unattended for a couple of hours and has an off yellow head. You know you it shouldn't be drunk as it is obviously past it's best, yet somehow you are still drawn to it. Like a fly to shite.
